The Not So Great Non-Debate

Okay, I must rant for a minute about this totally manufactured debate on guns. No one seems to want to just let the ridiculousness die a normal dignified death.

For the pro-gun crowd: by entertaining anyone who espouses the false premise that you require approval or permission from anyone to own any firearm of your choosing, you’ve already lost the debate. It’s not possible for you to not have the right to defend yourself, your family, your property. You’re arguing a non-issue, thus you lose by even considering it worthy of a rebuttal. This only implies that the opposition is credible, which is quite a feat as it isn’t even possible for the opposition’s position to be legitimate. You do not need to defeat that which is illegitimate, it defeats itself.

So please turn off your network news, or at least view it for what it is; how the state (the ruling class) wants you to view reality. It’s all manufactured. This non-debate must be manufactured and artificially hyped and publicized for it to even appear to exist. Stop giving it serious attention, stop contributing to its ratings book and it will soon be replaced by the next week’s bullshit narrative. Maybe that will at least be something original, but we can’t find out until you allow this month’s bullshit to die!

For the anti-gun crowd: first, I reject any notion that mine or anyone’s choice to be armed is in any way any of your fucking business. It’s not. Secondly, by you attempting to aid or use the state in order to hinder the ability of innocent people to protect themselves, you become worse than the violent criminals you claim you wish to stop. At least mass murders do their evil themselves. They get their own hands dirty when they violate the rights of others. But you, you cower behind the armed mafia of the state and beg them to violate the inherent rights of your innocent neighbors on your behalf. You are by far more evil and dangerous than a crazy person with a weapon. The crazy person could potentially spill a few, maybe even several pints of blood, but history has shown that your grade of irresponsible, immoral, illogical, intellectually inconsistent philosophy leads to rivers of spilt blood.
