School shootings
America has 33,000 gun deaths a year. Our politicians won’t do anything to reduce this number. They are bought and paid for by the NRA. Starting with the 21 million they gave to Trump. What about my right to go to school, church, the movies and concerts without being gunned down in a massacre?
If you have that irrational fear, bring your gun. That is an actual right, not like the one you just made up. We could reduce gun violence by two thirds pretty easily, just change the definition to no longer include suicides. Pharmaceutical drugs kill hundreds of thousands of Americans annually, including most victims of large public mass shootings, why not call to do something about them?
I know my facts. If people had to pass a simple mental health exam to get a gun it would prevent a lot of suicide. You have to pass a drivers test to get a drivers license why not pass a mental health exam to get a gun? Look I’m not against guns. I have a gun and a permit to carry. That's quite a claim, without a shred of evidence to back it up, I can't imagine that even preventing a single suicide, who will administer this "simple mental health check"? what will it consist of? Why wouldn't someone buy a gun on the black market or just hang themselves if they could not get a legal gun as a result of failing this "simple mental health check"?
Here in my state ropes and belts are the number one means of completed suicide, should we restrict access to them? Would that prevent suicide?
Because there is no such thing as a simple mental health exam that can determine if someone might someday be suicidal. How about this as a simple solution that could significantly reduce gun deaths, how about all gun sales are required to include a large zip tie and a head sized plastic bag and instructions?

is a made up right, it does not exist. No one has that right.
