Storing Firearms While in Mexico Question
We are starting to plan a trip from home in PA to AZ next November. We spent many vacations over the years in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) some camping but most in beach front condos and loved it there. Since we started RVing 5 years ago and are both now retired, we’re hoping to spend some time camping in Rocky Point probably at the Reef campground.
Anyway, when we travel we carry firearms in our motorhome. We certainly can’t take them into Mexico so we’re looking into options as to where we could store them while in Mexico. We’re looking to be in Rocky Point 3-4 weeks.
Anybody have any suggestions on where we could store our firearms while we are in Mexico?

I found renting a small storage unit near the border works pretty well. Another option is checking with local gun ranges in Arizona—some of them offer storage, but it’s worth calling ahead to confirm. I’ve also grabbed solid cases and locks from Every Gun Part, which made things a lot easier for trips like this.
