Late night improvisation on guitar
Hey Steemians,
A little late night improvisation from me. Free improv is a great way to experiment with "in the moment" playing. You don't think about what you're going to do before you do it, it's about just seeing what sounds you can make, and how you can turn random and unplanned musical events into something coherent.
It doesn't always work (I'm sure some people would claim it never works) but I think it helps you get in tune (no pun intended) with your instrument as well as being a great way to flex your creative muscles.
Late night improv
I hope this post inspires you to experiment with free improvisation. It's so easy to spend all our time practicing and rehearsing and learning but not actually playing in a away that satisfies our desire to express ourselves. And I think in the process it makes us better musicians. That's the theory, anyway.
If you got some value out of this post, please cross my palm with a little steem silver and upvote, resteem or follow.
