Replacing the Vol Pot on my Robin Medley Guitar
The old potentiometer was crackling every time I moved it so I ordered a new CTS Mojo 500k to try out. When I inspected the old potentiometer it had blue paint inside(previous owner had repainted this guitar many years ago) and had excessive tolerances around the shank causing intermittent contact when moved. The pot definitely needed to be replaced, I also had to add some wire extensions on the leads to the pickups. Here's the video
