Team Gridcoin gets over 12,000 members, and just a month away from #1 on BOINCstats.com
As we get over the emotion of the Gridcoin 1 Million block celebration (and the recriminations!), lets refocus on why we are all here; the science.
BOINCstats.com is one of several websites that keeps user and team stats for BOINC work, and its definately the one that most BOINCers look at, team Gridcoin has been racing up the chart in recent months, but for the last several weeks there has not been much to talk about, because a much older team had a massive head start
But as we can see now we are just 32 days or approx 1 month from overtaking the current #1 team Sicituradastra., you will also note from that chart that Team Gridcoin Average Credit dwarfs every other team in the top 10!
And in terms of team monthly credit growth we can see the recent acceleration (I added a fake line).
RAC has slipped a little in the last week, but this isnt anything to be concerned with, thats just how the stats go sometimes, it depends on who is crunching what, or even changes in the projects themselves can cause this.
In team membership we have breached the 12,000 layer! And our active crunchers are also way up on the last time I reported, up from ~2,500 to ~3,200!

Minor note:
Don't forget that there are many more members in the pools; some of them might have indeed a CPID that is counted as a member in the Gridcoin team (who first went solo, then pool), but the rest does not (who went straight with a pool). I don't know about the ratio though.
Sure, Im just calling what I see on BOINCstats, its the growth that I think is the main message, not the numbers themselves (they fluctuate constantly).
Does this include the quantity of active users on grcpool.com ?
No it's the number from boincstats :)
I guess not, but its a big leap in solo miners none the less :)
