New lab

Hello again, after a discussion with my wife, last week we decided to make some big changes. Since we live alone for a while now, we moved our bedroom to a smaller room and turned the old bedroom in a workplace for both of us. The results are very pleasing, but as always, here is a "thousand words":

After some considerations, I also revised the server placement and ended up with all servers on the bottom, except the R710 that is not working for the moment. Below are the pictures of the new setup:

In order to be able to close the cabinet door, I had to find a solution. That is the purpose of the 3 fans at the bottom(see second picture). Those are 120mm powerful fans recovered from old workstations. They work at full speed all the time pushing air from under the cabinet inside it. This little trick gets the job done and the temperature is just 1 degree over ambient temperature, compared with 6-8 without the fans.

This sums up all the changes in the setup. Now is time for some Gridcoin mining stats.

It has been a while since I have the servers working and they have reached almost to the max MAG. Below is a graph with the Mag evolution over the time:

For a more detailed view of the situation, I also attached below the list with all the hosts.

As you can see, at the time I am not making any profit. I have not managed to measure the power consumption, but according to HP, the total power consumption should be around 1100W, that is about 1$/day. Now i get 10GRC/day, at current price(0.05$) will total at about 0.5$.

In conclusion, at this time, I am losing about 0.5$/day. Is it worth it? Yes. 15$/month is a small price to pay for now. I am sure that the gridcoin price will grow after the dev team will settle the wallet issues.
