Gridcoin is now a part of BILD!

The developer from team BOINC Italy, sabayonino, has informed me that a working copy of the production wallet v3.6.1.0 is now running on the dev copy of BILD (BOINC Italy Linux Distro)! He has also included several themed skins for BOINC, including my Gridcoin-themed skin! see: https://github.com/gridcoin-community/BOINC_Skin
I literally updated the skin to the new logo this morning, so that was kind of funny. lol :P
I have created a .torrent so nobody has to download it from his home server, as I believe is the current setup.

If anyone has experience with newer AMD drivers + Gentoo, please hit me up... that is one of the only areas BILD is currently lacking in, and he has welcomed helped with the process. :D

Wow, thats nice work, its good to see the wider BOINC community caring for Gridcoin. Lets hope we can remove the team requirement now that we are #1 on BOINCstats, and let the true beauty of the Gridcoin love spread its iridescent wings of freedom.... err, or something like that anyway :)
If there is one thing I would like to see put to a vote, it's this.
I've been hearing about removing team requirement for months since I first started following gridcoin (and I'm sure it's been going on longer than that.) . But it doesn't seem like anyone is actually working on doing it. Am I wrong? It would be a truly great and wonderful thing if some smarty-pants could figure it out.
We need a vote to pass first, I think technically the devs have an idea how to do it.

Sweet! Gridcoin is the only coin where something productive gets done, I wish some of these other coins had some type of supportive method behind it would be nice.
