gridcoin... boinc and stuff .... help needed

hi there could anyone who s in touch with gridcoin .... tell me about how it works ??? because i don t know what i m doin g wrog .... i downloaded the wallet .... used the faucet many times but only got two payouts .... i also downloaded boinc some weeks ago let it run it counts some credits 326.683 .... but what to do with them how i get paid or i just wasted time and resources ??

pls help me out i m really interested in this gridcoin stuff

i m really new on this i maybe understand half of it xD ... so i have registered at boinc and the drc research .... boinc already running ... so if i understand correctly i have to visit the website of the project ??

Yes, Each project you are running needs to be set up with the same:

Account Name
Account Password
E-Mail Address
CPID

To do this you need to visit each project website, log-in to your account and edit your details. You then need to join team Gridcoin in that project.

The details you have chosen for your projects then need to be added to the gridcoinreasearch.conf file.

so it was worthless installing boinc and wasted resources ?? because boinc was running for some weeks now and i have some credits there what to do with them ??

and whats about the mysteriuos grc faucet i claimed many times but got only paid two claims ??

BOINC computations are never wasted, you contributed to the science
with some BOINC tasks already done, your future GRC payouts will be bigger
if you want to mine solo, approximately 2000 GRC are needed in your wallet, due to Gridcoin's Proof-of-Stake nature
faucets are probably overloaded due to many new users. Type your GRC address here and I'll send you a few coins (it's a good custom in the Gridcoin community, to help the new users)

and i don t want to solo mine .... and already joined a team at boinc and let it run ... but don t know how to change credit into grc :/

i m not new to crypto.... only to steem and grc ..... i read some stuff and i want them as currency to trade :) and back up for my fiat money ^^

but also steem and grc are really interesting stuff :)

You do not need to change your BOINC credit into GRC, BOINC credit is a recognition of how much work you have done for BOINC projects. Your Gridcoin wallet (or in your case the pool) will handle converting your BOINC credit into GRC if you have everything setup.
Gridcoin works on RAC (Recent Average Credit) to represent how much BOINC work you have done in recent times, so its important to keep processing BOINC work on a regular schedule, this can be 24/7/365 or you can do less, but for higher payout more is better. Your RAC will continue to increase for around 4-6 weeks if you keep a regular BOINC processing schedule.

The pool will payout on its own schedule, you need to check with them when your payment is due, I think its ususally 2 weeks, but I never used a pool.
