This is an insufficient period of time for substantial development polls. I had people freaking out over a single month in the past (with regards to the fixed/posv3 block reward poll), the suggested minimum is 3 months so that we can maximize involvement, otherwise it can be seen as subversion.
One month seems fine; perhaps this can be a discussion point at the hangout.
