HOW YOU CAN PASSIVELY SUPPORT THE STEEMIT GREETERS GUILD INITIATIVE
Lucky here again with another incredibly informative tutorial on how you can passively support the Steemit Greeters Guild without having to sacrifice a bunch of your valuable time. For those of you who are unaware of who SGG is, let me give you a brief explanation. The Steemit Greeters Guild is a community based initiative dedicated to growing the community in a positive manner using compassion, education, humanitarianism and camaraderie. Myself and other like minded individuals have come together with one goal in mind, to help the lower ranks of Steemit gain the insight and exposure they need to be successful by lending them a helping hand. So, on to how you can support our cause and help us build a lasting foundation that will set the standard in humanitarianism on the Steemit platform.....
STEP ONE - LOG INTO STEEMAUTO AND GO TO FANBASE
LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
First and foremost to follow this tutorial you have to be a registered user of SteemAuto. If you do not know what SteemAuto is, please read my comprehensive tutorial HERE which will explain it from start to finish. Now, let's assume you are registed with SteemAuto and are ready to move forward. You simply log onto SteemAuto as usual and access the Fanbase feature as shown in the photos above. Note that either route will take you to the same area. Once you have clicked on the Fanbase feature, proceed to step two.
STEP TWO - ADD GREETERSGUILD TO YOUR FANBASE
NOW FOR A CLOSER LOOK
Once in the Fanbase function's home screen you simply locate the topmost window as pictured above. In this window you simply type "greeterguild" and then click on the "follow" button. This will then add greetersguild to your fanbase, or to properly speak, make you fan of greetersguild. By joining in as a fan, you and multiple others are able to automatically upvote every post from SGG. This shows your support to our initiative by offering rewards on our posts. Remember, your upvote may not be very high, but combined with a large number of other users, your upvote WILL make an incredible difference in our success! Now, on to step three, we are almost done!
STEP THREE - CONFIRM YOU ARE FOLLOWING GREETERSGUILD AND CONFIRM YOUR UPVOTE SETTINGS
GREETERGUILD WILL SHOW AS BEING FOLLOWED AS SEEN ABOVE. BELOW IS THE SETTINGS BAR AFTER CLICKING ON IT
AND LET'S ZOOM IN ON THE SETTINGS BAR
Once you have followed SGG, you will now automatically upvote every article that we post. First, please confirm that you are utilizing the Fanbase function and are following "greetersguild". Once you have confirmed you are following us, you have the option to adjust your voting settings as seen above. Now, here is the key to adjusting your settings. Of course, we would love for you to use a 100% voting weight, however this is something you can feel free to adjust depending on your desired level of support for SGG. The real key factor here is the time you wait to upvote SGG. Now, studies have shown that more curation rewards are offered for you by setting this from between 20 to 25 minutes after the post has been released. Feel free to adjust this according to your preferences. Either way, we are happy to have your upvotes and your support!
HOW DOES THIS SUPPORT THE STEEMIT GREETERS GUILD?
This is actually one of the best ways you can show your support to not only the Steemit Greeters Guild but also in the growing of the Steemit community! By constantly providing your upvotes to our material, you are providing a reward for us for every post. In numbers, meaning the more of you who join our Fanbase, the more rewards we receive in larger numbers. What does this mean for SGG? This means that we will throw every single reward into either growing our Steem Power to function more efficiently OR use some to host events that help other newcomers grow and advance on their journey across the Steemit platform. Something as simple as an upvote can make a huge difference in the community.
Take into account that this is designed to make it so everyone, no matter how big or small, can do their part to give back to the community. Just think of it like this, every single time you upvote our content, you are passively doing our job with us, making the Steemit community a more productive and compassionate place, one greeting at a time! great great great idea and setup.
Spending my first two weeks with steemit I have to say that I am pretty disappointed about the effective economic selection process for high quality content in the steem ecosystem.
What I mean by that is that I actually can not derive linear payout/monetization to the quality of the underling content.. what in my point of view should be the case.
(pardon me if I do not count funny cat clips to quality content.. not intending to insult someone..)
I fear that a big portion to this "malfunction" is due to voting bots, facebook style funny cat clips and fat tail distribution of steempower to people focusing on their own voting clan..
So before posting the very relevant content I came here to share with the world and instead wasting it to the abyss I came up with to ideas:
So I had the intention to actively select, comment and resteem high quality content and serve my followers.. .. just all on my own.. and ask followers to designat steempower for leverage... until I stumble about your great enterprise..
I believe what I wanted to do is similar to scouting by SGG?
Would it make sense to join SGG with my intentions - instead of trying it on my own?

Do I have to use #greetersguild to get a resteem? I just got this Why are you failining on steemit and what you can do about it post published, but I didn't know you guys yet.
