GRATITUDEDAY 10: GRATEFUL FOR STEEMIT

The 62 day gratutide challenge is an intitiative brought about by @tojukaka and I want to say thank you for making us look forward to being grateful every single day.

There are things in our lives we really don't know how important they are to us because we have not sat down to critically analyse the situation or circumstances.

I have been away from work for exactly one month now due to JOHESU strike in Nigeria. Went to the office a few times because some things had to be fixed while the strike lasted.

It would have been so boring staying at home with no light ( electicity) at times when everyone has gone out for the day and you are all alone at home.

The joy I have is that I never allow myself to be bored or lonely and to make things more interesting for me there is steemit to keep me busy. How nice. 💃

HOW STEEMIT HAS AFFECTED MY LIFE
I was introduced to steemit last year by @samstickkz and since I understood the rudiments of steemit I have grown to love it so dearly.

After saying my prayers in the morning i take a look at steemit before getting my family ready for the day.

I have observed that the story is similar for those who are ready to put in their best to make post even though the rewards are not as you would want but they come handy, it's all good.

● Steemit gave me wings to fly in the sence that I can express myself in a way I have never done in any other social media platform before. I had stopped facebooking years ago because it didn't feel right for me. I have nothing against the site though but being on steemit makes me tell my story the way it is.

●Steemit gave me a new family: There are wonderful people I had never imagined to ever cross paths with. The likes of @surpassinggoogle, @ejemai, @tojukaka, @jerybanfield, @greenrun, @gbenga, @dimimp, @exyle, @axidyo, name it. All across the globe. It was made possible because I said yes to steemit. One of such families is the Steembees group on WhatsApp and discord also known as @kingbee on steemit, organiseda by @ewuoso. They can be so noisy and frustrating sometime. Just like a typical bee hive that never sleeps, there is always one discussion or the other going on there 24 hours of the day 😒
I love the group because we are like a real family, well I am not an active member. I read post and just follow instructions, get updates and the support for members is really exceptional. They fight, quarel and settle life goes on. They support by upvoting each other in a contest and that is remarkable. Other groups are @STACH organised by @ejemai, @wafrica, @air-clinic, @airhawk, @steemchurch and so on.

●Steemit brought out another side of me I never thought was there. Writing is one thing I never liked, poems were foreign to me. My creative abilities are coming out better everyday, constructing sentences and ensuring my spellings are correct. I have grown to avoid plagiarism because steemit frowns at it. I don't want cheetah visiting my blog for any reason. When I first started, i was a customer to cheetah, now the story has changed. Thanks to steemit.

● Steemit puts money in my pocket: I would be ungrateful to say the least I have not benefited from steemit financially even when the votes can be disencouraging at times. I laughed it off so I can keep going. It is the reason I am writing this post because the little I have cashed out of steemit has sustained me during this strike. Even had some money from steemit to settle some needs in my farm, It felt so good and even had a steemian friend @profchydon visit my farm, love to have more of such experiences in the future. I expect good payouts but what ever comes is still a plus to me.

● Steemit made me to delve into new things and made me bolder. When I'm feeling like to give up, I write motivational post to encourage myself. Hahaha! I also know it would benefit someone out there so I put it in writing. @ejemai always says "make the world a better place than you met it". It has to start with me.

●My spouse has come to accept steemit not because he is a registered member but because he allows me do steemit without judging me like most other Multilevel Marketing businesses I had done in the past. Steemit has opened a whole new world of entry into the cryptocurrency space for many like me. Using steem to aquire other crypto coins is so so amazing. What more can one ask for. The platform is an encyclopedia of information that no one can deny. Steemit Rocks!
