Heartfelt Meditation of Gratefullness
Going thru a tough day? Feeling anxious or overwhelmed? Or are you feeling great and wanting to keep it that way?!
A great way to positively answer the questions above or similar questions to them is thru a heartfelt meditation exercising gratitude.
Gratitude is one of those amazing feelings that when you're feeling a state of being grateful it's pretty impossible to feel any negative state at that same time. It works better than any antidepressant you can take with no side effects or prescriptions needed. Only thing you need is your beating heart!
There is no one way to do this but I'll describe how I usually go about it. To start I lay down take a couple deep breaths and relax my body then proceed to place my hands over my heart. Placing one hand over the other and searching for that rythmic beat of blood pumping thru you. Once you feel it start to send love and thanks to your heart thanking it for being with you since you came into the world. Thank it for beating everyday with out fail or having to ask it to. Soak in the moment of the feelings that come up and realizing how much of our body is actually on autopilot keeping us going day in and day out.
