Bucket Hat Granny

Hello creative community,

I guess this is my fourth drawing and is still about grandparents today. I am so happy that I didn't lose my momentum and motivation YAY. This was a continuous grind hope I finish until month end. I made a drawing of a grandma sporting a bucket hat and a nice pair of cardigan. She is wearing a pair of comfortable trainers too so she can take long walks in the neighbourhood while exercising. I miss my grandma already. This series is not just about grandparents this is something dear and personal for me. I grew up seeing two generations of my grandparents and I am glad that they lived that long.

Line drawing as you can tell it was not easy drawing the face.

The base colors are pale and washed. I want to achieve a sunny morning and a worn out vibe on the clothes

Here you see I added some shadows and highlights

A closer look on the patterns. I love working on these floral details they complete the look of the clothes. Gives it that unique look rather than a plain boring drawing. Hope you like it.
