Graffiti artists in Berlin turn NAZI symbols into art
BERLIN (Reuters) - Horrified by the sight of a swastika on walls, children's playgrounds and buildings, a group of graphic artists in Berlin turned Nazi symbols into colorful works of art such as flowers, cars and animals.
The swastika Nazi Nazi-era Nazi-led Nazi-led swastika is banned in Germany, where right-wing sentiment has been fueled by the influx of more than 1 million immigrants over the past two years.
Hence the idea of cartoons such as rabbits, birds and Rubik's cube to cover the swastika.
The group has already converted around 25 crucifixes and transported people in other cities, including Hamburg, Willem and Bremen, to the initiative.
