Changing the world in New Paradigm

Reference: Google Data Center https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/gallery/#/

This is a picture of Google Data Center
It is one of the most acknowledged and qualified hardware center on the planet that index more than 20 billion pages a day, process more than 3 billion keywords in real time, and deliver about 43 million mail services.
However, centralized servers are vulnerable to hacking, data loss, and human mistakes. If Google’s data center is hacked, we will not be able to use the Google service.
Is there a cloud service that is safe from hacking, data loss risk, and modified data at will?

Bluzelle

Bluezelle: Distributed Database Service
Bluezelle is trying to solve and overcome the problem through decentralization, reliability and invariance in taking advantage of the properties of Blockchain,
Many DApps are constantly being developed into the current Blockchain platform, but in reality the database is not decentralized yet. Bluezelle aims to provide solution with distributed database service solution for DApp developers, build a DB for software development, and finally provide DB for big companies as well.
(* DApp referred to as decentralized application)
In other words, building a data center on top of Blockchain.
At this time, there are no dangers of data loss because the data is decentralized, and likewise it cannot be manipulated because it is not centralized. Users can also use the server at low cost without having to buy and operate a server at a high cost. Along, Bluezelle has very little capital cost because it does not operate its own data center.

Storj

Storj: Lending individual’s computer hardware disk drive
Storj is also a distributed cloud storage platform based on the use Blockchain technology.
Many people still use cloud storage platform every month with monthly payment, rather than buying expensive HDDs. With cloud service, you can use as much Terabytes of storage as you want. But there are still issues with the cost.
The distinctive idea of storage differentiates from the Bluezelle mentioned above, in which you can lend the remaining space on your computer’s hard disk in a cloud service form.
Those who lend their remaining hard disk space are rewarded with coins, and borrowers can use the service at a lower cost than traditional centralized cloud services. It runs very securely on Blockchain, and the data stored in the cloud remains on the borrowed hard disk and can not be manipulated or used.

Golem

Golem: Lending Computer-power (short term)
If you are a torrent user, you will be familiar with the P2P structure. By using Blockchain in Peer-To-Peer network, it is essential to assure security and reliability and return benefits to providers.
(* P2P is short term for Peer-to-Peer, meaning that individuals are directly connected and sharing files on the Internet)
The project may be a little surprising. Golem is a platform that allow anyone can use to rent decentralized supercomputer power.
Golem built a supercomputer by collecting CPUs and GPUs that are not used by individual computers, just as the storage utilizes the individual hard drives that are not being used.
The providers receive coins as rewards for resources they provide as CPU and GPU computing power of unused resources. Conversely, a user who does not have the efficient capital cost needed to run a supercomputer but requires a supercomputer, can use the resources of the provider to run high-performance operations.
In other words, my CPU is so slow in i3-ray video rendering, and by using Golem network, you can use supercomputer-like CPU resources as well as i7 CPU at low cost.

Did you ever come across the Amazon Web Service (AWS) after seeing a project called Golem? You may wonder if it would make sense to leave the AWS service and use Golem.
(* AWS is a cloud service that lends users the servers they need)
You pay AWS not only for its use of hardware, but also for the reliability of the system structure. It’s like having a bank in the middle when we send money to someone we do not know. The bank transaction fee we pay include not only the remittance cost but also the cost of having an intermediary (trust relations).
But what if this “trust” can be guaranteed by a technology called Smart Contract? Management costs, and reliability costs are significantly reduced and the benefits are returned to the users on the network. This is because users on the network can build their own trusted-structures.
That’s right. If you look at the three cases mentioned above, they have something in common. All of them benefit consumers and providers.

So what kind of project is Grabity?
In short, it is a project that ultimately embraces all the advantages of the three companies we have seen.

Grabity: New Paradigm of Internet
The CPU can be found everyone, even in your pocket. It’s the smartphone.
Did you know that the smartphone CPU is more powerful than the supercomputer NASA used to launch the moon in 1969?
In addition, do you use all 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage space on your mobile phone?
In our Grabity ecosystem, each cell phone becomes a network participant. Not only mobile phones, but also tablet PCs and PCs are available as well.
Similar to existing P2P Torrent before Blockchain, no matter how much I shared the files, I could not get any reward. The same applies to mobile phone applications. We do not receive reward for downloading the application. But it is possible on the ecosystem of Grabity.

Grabity Moto
Grabity’s moto is New Paradigm of Internet
So let me provide you an example of the world we try to draw.
Just as the three companies Bluezelle, Storj, Golem provide servers, HDDs and CPUs to their network participants, Grabity is able to provide the three functions from mobile devices and other resources that have been enact in Grabity. And of course the participants are rewarded for providing resources.
It is not just receiving reward for providing resources. The core function of TOSS is the transfer. If A sends money to B, verification of this process will also be handled directly by Grabity network participants. In the process of TOSS, the transfer is automatically processed through the idle mobile phone’s CPU and HDD and also be rewarded.
In other words, if you want to earn money, you download the application and wait. This is because the phone automatically handles transfer information using the idle-resources or by providing a CPU or HDD to the Grabity ecosystem.
From the perspective of TOSS developer, there is no server cost at all. All the information and computing resources are distributed among different network participants.
We create a world in which Grabity network participants and developers share the cost of use and relaibility that we have paid so far to the bank.

TOSS is limited to an extent of transfer services, and if we can apply it to applications that we use frequently in real life, such as Airbnb, Facebook, KakaoTalk, we will be able to create unlimited value.
Of course, this is the world we will ultimately draw attention to. In the short term, it will speed up the verification process by giving network participants the right to process transactions directly.
The world we draw ultimately may be a little distant to the future, but are not you also? It is a world in which every people can have mutual agreement structures, maintain bank system, trust each other, and receive rewards. The reward is also provided back to the user, not just to the miners like Bitcoin. Grabity is trying to provide strength to the future of decentralization grill.
