I've been following Craig Murray's blog on and off for years. I knew that there were some obsessive - possibly professional - editors of Wikipedia, but I had no idea how defensive Jimmy Wales was of their activities. His reaction is astonishing to me, and disturbing.
I remember listening to a man called Wolfgang Halbig being interviewed on The Richie Allen Show, about a year ago. Halbig has been investigating the Sandy Hook shooting for years, but several listeners messaged the show to say that there was not one single mention of him on Wikipedia's "Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting conspiracy theories" page. Some of these listeners said they had edited the page to include Halbig's theories, but that their edits were immediately removed. This became a kind of running theme for a while, with various listeners trying to add Halbig's name to the page, but their edits being immediately removed. There is still no mention of Halbig on the conspiracy page.
When a renowned "conspiracy theorist" cannot even get a mention on a Wikipedia page focused on popular "conspiracy theories" about the subject he has been investigating for years, you certainly have to wonder how "open source" Wikipedia is!
