If you get anarchy that's what you'll get. A Game of Thrones world with the kings, rulers, and thugs having access to 21st century weapons and technology and the rest of us subsistence farming and doing the bidding of the king and living in fear of the thugs.
I upvoted you anyway even though I disagree with your opinion. Our governments, dysfunctional as they may be are a world better than the alternatives.
There is no way to say the government is not responsible for all of the above. Thus what you would be proposing by keeping government is that we go until we are all dead. I'm sorry but that's just what will happen if we continue on this path of destruction.
I didn't say we ought to keep on the path we're on. That would eventually lead to destruction, like Rome. And like Rome, could lead to another dark age. We would need a viable replacement on the ground and ready to go.

Humanity has chosen its course. A new dark age IS coming. Price's Square Root Law suggests that only the square root of the totality of humanity will even perceive the dangers of the coming apocalypse. The die is cast.
I think that there is still time for humanity to come together and stop the evil overlords we have ruling us at the moment. It's just matter of us taking the money away from the governments around the world so they can't use our wealth against us.
Money is not real any more. It has been transformed by governments and their banking partners to enslave the world. You cannot take money away from governments, since it is their creation: their monster. The coercive power of the state is a blunt tool. Money is much more subtle and malicious, since it fools people into thinking it is a good thing which will help them. That is the trap. Mankind has taken the bait, hook, line and sinker.
I know what your saying, It's something they create from thin air but regardless of how they produce it, they simply can't continue to do it forever and I think this fall the USA may have to finally make it official that they are bankrupt. We should at this point see some changes start to take place as everything will have to go back to the gold standard. That will truly be the end to them creating something out of nothing.
