Identifying logical fallacy......pls halp!
I'm confused on this one, because I think this instance overlaps a couple of the commonly-known fallacies.
"People get upset about _______, but are quiet about [somewhat similar thing]"
Example: meme on Bernie Sanders fluffer page assuming that same people who are mad at protesters blocking traffic aren't angry when people stop in traffic to catch Pokemon.
False dichotomy, composition/division? Little of both?
It may just be the example you chose, but what you are speaking of is a false equivalency. Pokemon Go players wandering into traffic is an accidental result of children and the feeble-minded playing an innocent game. Whereas Black Lives Matter protesters are there purposefully and deliberately waving signs and reminding us that the society we live in is inherently racist and people are dying at an alarming rate because of it.
