We Need Blockchains Like Steemit Now More Than Ever

This Just In

The Philippine House of Representatives votes PhP 1000.00 (~ $ 23) budget for the Commission on Human Rights for 2018.

As some of you may know, The Duterte Administration has had its war on drugs for a while now. The only ones that seem exempt from the onslaught are the rich, with those of the lower socio-economic classes even minors have been killed. 17 and 14 year olds Carl Arnaiz and Reynaldo de Guzman were said to have been killed by Philippine National Policemen (Carl Arnaiz' case confirmed). Now, with the CHR with less budget, what more can we expect from scalawag policemen from the PNP, hidden wealth from Duterte and the overall development of the Philippines?

I believe that blockchains like Steem and other related blockchains like the IPFS, Ethereum and EOS should be used in synergy to give a voice to people around the world, where censorship and bureaucratic red-tape is abundant. We should all come together with tools like this that allow decentralization to work against abusive control and governance!
