Very informative article. Just one correction. I assume you are quoting another media source that said

"many Native Americans have taken offense at Trump’s use of Pocahontas’s name to disparage a political opponent".

This is what I call a 'wishcast'. It is where mainstream media has a wish, a dream, a preferred reality. They then broadcast that as fact hence wish-cast.

The truth is that is an unproven wish. Nowhere have many Native Americans shown offense. In fact an online poll I saw today had 80% of people saying it was just a joke, 15 % reported that it was offensive, 5% didn't care either way.

Always show caution repeating as fact the 'wishes' of others.
