Oath Protocol Links Up with DREP for a New Partnership
We have been hard at work expanding our partnership network, and we are excited to share our newest partner — DREP, a decentralized reputation ecosystem.
DREP is building a performance-oriented technology infrastructure that supports high transaction capacity for an ecosystem that generates valuable reputation data. On the protocol layer, DREP is developing a technology layer that quantifies, monetizes, and aggregates reputation value of users across different platforms, including e-commerce, gaming, content publishing, and social networking.
Here at Oath Protocol, we are building a layer 2, cross-chain infrastructure to facilitate dispute resolution and governance in the decentralized blockchain ecosystem, modeled on the common law jury system.
How Will the Partnership Work?
On the Oath Protocol platform, we will use DREP’s reputation mechanism to identify and select jurors with the highest reputation scores for high-value or appellate cases, ensuring a more reliable and fair dispute resolution process.
From its side, DREP will use Oath Protocol for any dispute resolution and governance decisions that require community input, whether relating to reputation scores or any other issues.
This is an important partnership not only for DREP and Oath, but also for the entire decentralized ecosystem. As the general user base grows, the ability to identify high-quality, high-reputation users will become of the utmost importance. With DREP, we will be able to identify those users, and with Oath Protocol, we will get them connected with multiple communities for day-to-day governance and dispute resolution, and for a more interconnected and flourishing decentralized ecosystem.
