We're still in adjustment mode. Hollywood has been whitewashing and sexist for years. Now society is reacting to that...and overreacting in many cases, and then Hollywood panders to them, and then society recoils. There will be a time of adjustment.

You also can't expect so much of everyone. There will be a lot of people that react to Hollywood and society not changing quickly enough for their like...and also overreacting to things and actually making it worse. Just as people must speak out against the racism and sexism that has been rampant, people have to speak out when trying to fix things actually fucks it up.

Society is changing. It's all of our jobs to work at making it better, not just those crying foul because they're just fed up.
