For It Is "Written"

The tempter came to Jesus Christ after he was led by The Spirit of God into the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. Matthew 4 and Luke 4 showed how Christ defeated the devil with the scriptures.

He said for the words I speak are Spirit and Life. Knowing this, He used the same power in His words to overcome the temptations. He said it is "Written" affirming the power in The Word of God.
