Our googly adventure
As you all know #googlyeyes has become a fun addition to the adventures me and my daughter go on.
The little monster is at that wonderful age where she’s a proper little person now, such a character, with a very cheeky personality, a lot of sass and a crazy amount of independence - where’s my baby gone?! Well, that new found independence now includes Googlys... she wants her OWN eyes, to make her OWN googlys.
Here are the characters we met today, on what ended up being a very long, but super fun walk. All created by the little lady herself, or directed by her for the more fiddly ones.
Some are alittle wonky, which made mama bears OCD kick in - but these guys are all hers so I let it go! And they’re so charming!
The grumpalump;
This is where it started, I spotted this unhappy chappy and went to put the eyes on, which almost caused a tantrum because she wanted to do it.
Drake, the delighted drain;
Crazy Clive - Drakes little bro (she took a looooong time with Clive. Haha!)
Ivy;
I helped with this one, but under strict instructions to put them by the “big hair, big hair, biiiiiig hairrrr!”

These were the actual googly faces - there’s lots of random googly-eyes-on-stuff.

Aw thanks - it’s a proud moment. Grumpalump and Ivy are my favs. But she was so excited by big eyed bob, probably because she could do it all by herself without Mummy’s help. We had proper belly laughs today doing this - #googlyeyes rocks!
I love the fact you did it with your baby girl, I always think the children with their childlike imagination can spot the faces better!! You have some really creative googlies there! Congrats on your win @tillygerbi, a well deserved win :D
Thanks so much for the lovely comment, me and the little lady are really happy with our win, especially with so many cool entries. She’s been helping with my googlies for a while, but now she’s spotting them all by herself - it’s really special to see her imagination come to life, and I’m thrilled it’s with googlies haha. We honestly have so much fun doing them together!
