Google is celebrating 100th birth anniversary of India's renowned chemist Asima Chatterjee.
Born in Kolkata in 1917, Asima studied Chemistry rtrat a time when it was unusual for women to study the subject.
She became the first woman to be conferred a Doctorate of Science by an Indian University.
She was also the first female recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award in chemical science.
