Lessons in Letting Go
A flash of lighting.
To strick down behind me.
Above me the world, is passing...
So quickly, so vibrant.
What's this?
The brilliant lights begin to make sense!
A craft, of some kind, camouflaged in purples and blues.
Brilliant!
I take your hand and pray!
I am filled w a lightness, a love, a warmth.
I am distracted by your anxiety.
To sleep you go.
I remain.
Sitting.
Something comes to me.
An orange cat!
I know you! You are a wise one.
But oh what is that?!
Creeping outside the tarp!
Creeping shadow, i am alone.
To your bedside i go! But you're not awake!
Sitting up, you fall over! And i am scared!
Under the sheet, i am BITTEN!
Grabbing tightly!.
Oh it's the cat! Calling me to come out!
But then i wake.
The dream is over.
The confusion fading.
My children are needing me now.
The dream fades on my memory, the lesson is clear.
Fear is my down fall.
I will have these dreams until i have compete self control.
