18th Oro Golf Open of Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro

Every year around 300 golfers usually Rotarians take part in this much awaited prestigious event, players from all over the Philippines such as Cebu City, Makati City, Davao, Iligan City, Cotabato City, Zamboanga, Tagbilaran, Ozamis, Dipolog and Cagayan de Oro take part on this worthwhile for a cause event. The Oro Open Golf Tournament is a major fund raiser event of the Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro that supports its annual most important projects which are: the annual Most Outstanding Public School Teacher Award (MOPSTA), Medical Mission to depressed areas, Community Livelihood Service Projects, Projects for the Youth and yearly Nutrition Program on selected Barangays of Cagayan de Oro City. The 18th Oro Open Golf Tournament is being headed by the Executive Committees with Rotarian Assistant Governonr Ms. Erna G. Maagad as Overall Chairman and Past Assistant Governor Armando A. Tarayao as Overall Vice Chairman . The Operations Chairman of the event is Past Assistant Governor Eduardo B. Alaba together with the Finance Committee headed by Rotarian Omar S.Vallejera and the Secretariat headed by Secretary Alain P. Pacatan.
