For-play

The number 4 or the word fore is used often in the game of golf; 4-somes, more par 4's than par 3's or par 5' in 18 holes of golf, #4 iron, #4 wood, 4 sleeves of 3 balls in a dozen golf balls, 4teen clubs and then there's the scream of "fore" when a player hits an errant shot with someone in the line of flight of that same shot. So, in the game of golf the magic number is not 3...it's 4 or FORE depending on where one is standing(sitting) in relation to the flight of the struck golf ball!
This is just the beginning of our postings of the game of golf as we bleed it into the game of life, which a reader will soon realize that life and golf are mirror images of each other, or should be. Golf has it all; manners, etiquette, sportsmanship, consideration for others, rules, patience but most of all NOT BLAMING OTHERS FOR ONES' OWN MISTAKES and taking the penalty that the game assesses the player of life...I mean golf!
