Liquidating 401k/savings/IRAs/stocks/etc on potential economic crash?
I've been following Gold/Silver for sometime and now with the surge in cryptos, the economic crash some of us have been talking about since 2008, seems like it can happen sooner than I imagined.
Started my career in 2013 and put my first years savings into buying PMs. I haven't really been saving much maybe around 25k total - I've just been trying to take as many vacations and trips as possible before its too late and enjoying life as much as I can.. I don't work a 9-5. I'm sort of like a travel nurse, I can pick up a contract anytime I want.. taking the summer off to work on some project cars.
I was just wondering how many of you have liquidated any of your fiat savings into PMs or reality or cryptos or more stocks?
Do any of you prep? like stocking MREs or canned goods, water filtration systems. Do you really think it'll be as devastating as some of the fear mongers say it'll be?

I don't believe there will be a crash so much as a significant redistribution of labor, money, and power. Frankly, prepping for a doomsday scenario seems as unpredictable as trying to time markets so anticipating those shifts as objectively as possible rather than every fear -based scenario that comes along seems the most helpful to me.
hey thanks for the reply @pgcrypto I agree, I feel the same on the "crash" and prepping sorta thing.. but storing some food wouldn't hurt lol it lasts like 25yrs right.?! I don't have any tho btw lol
