Jet Jagur... makes no sense
Now this robot is cool when it comes to design, attacks, and is awesome!!! But one thing that I have a problem with is he can change size? Wait a minute Ultra Man can do that to! What else is that the director of Godzilla vs Megalon is the writer of Ultra Man! Another thing is that they basically look the same but have differences, here is a list of the differences.

Also he has a reputation of having a thumbs up.
Almost in every comic he shows up in he has a frame were he thumbs up 
So yeah this dude from the Showa era is cool and weird. I recommend the new Ultra Man series on Netflix
