First Champion Reveal
In this week's official Twitch stream, Petrify and Derek (Producer) revealed several new cards, including the Champion of Light, Lysander!
Along with the actual card, there was also a new story released which contains the creation Lore for Lysander.
The GU team has made quite a big deal out of these Champions, so I am guessing that there is more to it than just a few cool cards. Perhaps the Favor system will work with Champions somehow.

Balance Changes
No balance changes this week. I expect we won't see much until Season One balancing starts.
Scam Alert
Reports are out that there is a phishing scam circulating on Facebook. ALWAYS remember, if you aren't sure about a link in an an email or a social media feed, go directly to the website yourself by typing the URL in your browser (or using your previously saved link). In this particular case, the link in the post is very fishy. It doesn't go to the official website, and ends in .cf extension, which is not normal.

Marketplace
Not much in Marketplace news this week. An increase in the value of Olympian cards was expected after the reveals earlier this week. And while there has been a slight uptick in a few cards such as the Black Argo and the Phalanx Champion, overall the market is a bit over-saturated for much in the way of big moves.
Dev Update
The fourth dev update was posted. One of the best parts is a general timeline at the bottom of the post. The upcoming changes closest to reaching the players are more Lore and card reveals for Season 1, Official Marketplace improvements, and Flux and Fusing!

Meta
No balance patch means little to no Meta change. Control is still dominating, it just varies slightly from week to week as to which Control decks are currently in vogue. This past week Light Control and Magic Control were large and in charge. Will Death or Deception re-emerge? Or perhaps Slayer can regain some of its lost ground? Will someone find a new meta that can shake things up? I sure hope so!
