Object and definition of Philosophy. Philosophy of religion /part 3/
Religion and philosophy form a complementary unity. This play reveals two possibilities: from the point of view of religion, it is about that Christian philosophy, which is under the sign of the basic principle: "Credo ut intelligam". First of all, faith makes every true philosophy possible. Faith seeks the intellect , it gives light to reason so that he can philosophically properly know and in parallel with that in the field of philosophy to meditate theologically. In a certain sense Hegel is also involved in this philosophical tradition.
From the point of view of philosophy, attempts are being made to reduce religion to the foundation of philosophy, as it is reasoning rationally and philosophically. The result is a "religion within the limits of pure reason" (I.Kant) or respectively. this is the K. Philip's philosophical belief. Religion and philosophy form different, but mutually correlated, meaningful levels. This view originates from Thomas Aquinas. In his summatically pronounced form, he recognizes that if there is movement from the Cause of Everything Existing as His Topmost Sense, it is namely the direction of this movement presupposes man and his mind as the relevant addressee. Hence the basic principle: grace supposes the understanding . In addition, the created human reason and the Revelation resulting from this giving meaning to the world First The degradation and the human mind have their origin in God. The debauchery (religion) presupposes that man - according to the requirements of his own nature - always finds himself facing the questions of his orientation in the world, of revealing the real meaning of life and a perceived insight into metaphysical issues. Questions that philosophy unfolds as a science using the tools of rational knowledge.
Questions, which also in the Revelation / Religion / have the appropriate human solution. The supernatural god-given truth is the answer and solving of the fundamental problems facing man. Therefore, theology as a refiection of religious faith presupposes philosophy with the inherent and scientific conceptual-categorical apparatus and methodology and seeks to make sense of the Revelation through the mediation of philosophical consciousness - with its freedom, rational potential and problem areas. The second notion that philosophy will replace religion can not be accepted for the following reasons: The greatest scholars of special fields and the greatest philosophers of history have been religious. Their faith has not only prevented them from getting to know the "real natural and public laws", but it has even moved them and directed them to more and more knowledge. And it is enough that there is only one case of a common and harmonious existence of religion and philosophy in the same person, so that it is obvious that they exis- tently and in terms of their functional and content significance are not mutually exclusive.

Indeed, God gave us the ability to think and choose for a reason. He wanted us to question and hopes we see the correct answer as He has shown us.
