I have to wonder if those in allegiance with Satan are still within the bounds of the authority that was granted them. For the world to be as it is so tightly in their grip even after Lord Enlil himself, aka Lord RayEl, commanded him to leave the planet, surely the Father is also displeased.
In that case, what could possess the Accuser to stand against the entire might of the Kingdom?
In my view at least, they have exceeded their mandate by refusing to relinquish control to the messiah as soon as he announced himself. This may not be the case, I am just stating my view on it.
Either way I believe this reluctance to give up rulership was not a surprise
