RE: January 2018 Goals

in #goals7 years ago

I quit smoking 2 months ago. I felt like by setting it as a new year's resolution was only setting myself up for failure and decided to call it "a head start on my goals."

I really like how you break your goals down. It makes them feel more like a grocery list that you can just check off than a huge, intimidating commitment

Yay! Congratulations on quitting smoking! It's amazing how the feeling changed the moment the word "resolution" was taken out. It's like all of a sudden :)

And thank you! That was my aim, to make it seem like not a huge commitment ❤❤

Well mission accomplished. I really need to sit down and list some goals now.

i need 2 smoke some DICK

I don't think anyone here is trying to stop you.

Congratulations on quitting smoking, that's a tough one for sure! How did you manage to kick the habit? Will power, NRT? That's one of my goals for 2018.

If there's one thing I've learned from the many times I've tried to quit, it's that I have no willpower when it comes to quitting lol. I found Champex worked great, but I hit a point where it started taking me to dark places and they were dark enough to be out of my comfort zone, so I stopped taking it. The next best for me was the patch, which is what I used this time around. I did have to push through it because the smell of the patch turns my stomach and it tends to make me sick, but I managed to get through. I'm still struggling, so I have the gum for backup and I'll be hitting the vape shop on monday to get me through the morning meltdowns lol. I want so bad just to be done with it, but I don't want to start smoking again.
