Globetrotter's Logbook

in #globetrotter8 years ago

I'm quite new to this blogging lark, so I'm not used to receiving goodies in the post.

The other week a beautifully wrapped parcel arrived, containing a small book for me to review.

The Globetrotter's logbook is a small (about 5x3 inch) pocket book, designed to allow you to keep a track of your travels.

It's beautifully produced and is broken down into seven sections:

  • parts I and II show details of all countries; dependencies and territories of the world, with an impressive array of useful information for each: Time Zone, GDP, Currency, population etc. plus space for a small souvenir - perhaps a stamp or bus ticket.
  • part III documents the passing of meridians and parallels, again with space for a souvenir
  • part IV provides a large number of pages for notes
  • partV allows you to keep track of vaccinations
  • part VI is for the plane spotters amongst us, even with a space for the Captain/Purser's signature
  • part VII is a data section with maps, calendars, conversion data etc.

The book is probably ideal for an older relative; youngsters would be more at home putting their info into a blog, but if you are looking for a present for an aunt or uncle that likes scooting round the world in style. I can thoroughly recommend the gift wrapping option - well worth the few extra dollars!
