Investment in Silver

As an investment analyst it's my job to show you bargain investments. This time I want to introduce you to silver.
Yeah I know it's not a hot tip and it's there in plain sight and all but let me show you a few things. Silver is an industrial material and about 95% of all silver ever mined has been used up. Compare that with less than 5% for gold. Yes you heard me. All the gold ever mined is still here with us but we have used up almost all our silver.
In a strong economy silver can rise in value at a very fast pace due to the high demand. The entire annual production at today's prices comes in at under $14bn.
As a small investor there is lots of room for you here. Silver is currently priced at 1/75th the price of gold and that's where it gets interesting.
Silver is a relatively scarce resource compared to gold. It's also a store of value like gold. Silver historically trades at 1/14th the price of gold. Virtually all gold ever mined sits in vaults all over the world and yet while silver supplies have gone down.... the price has not kept up.
We all know the stock markets are gearing up for a correction and once that happens people will turn to commodities and precious metals. I expect silver to hit $50.00 within the next 5 years.
Everyone should have silver or silver based assets in their investment portfolio. Silver mining companies will do well because mining stocks and their underlying assets do not have a perfect correlation. Silver Mining stock gains will often outpace silver itself. Even silver long term call options and futures will often outpace silver itself.
You can also buy silver bars and government issued coins like Canadian maple leafs and U.S. Eagles. Even buying old coins from the 50s and 60s when money had intrinsic value is still a better deal than doing nothing.
The key thing is start somewhere so you can position yourself to earn more.
