Crypto Exchange Binance Warns Longtime Hackers 'Diversified Their Attention' Toward
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has issued a warning to longtime hackers who have been targeting the company for years.
In a tweet, the exchange said it detected and blocked numerous phishing attacks and identified many accounts with suspicious activity. He added that he will update our security system to better protect users in the future.
The company did not provide details about who was behind the attacks or what they were trying to steal from users. But apparently they know about the operation of Binance, which has been hacked many times before. Binance has been targeted by hackers several times over the past year. In March, it suffered a massive hack that resulted in the loss of $40 million in crypto. At the time, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said he suspected insider activity due to the speed at which some coins were removed from wallets after they were hacked.
He also noted that a hacker targeted his exchange for six months before breaking in and appears to be working with others as well.
