Binance to Drop USDC Trading Pairs stablecoin Balances to BUSD

Binance will remove USD Coin (USDC), the world's second largest stablecoin, a US dollar-pegged token issued by the Kendra Consortium. During an announcement made on Monday, Binance explained that it plans to automatically convert certain stablecoin balances if funds are not moved by September 29, 2022.

To increase liquidity and capital-efficiency for Binance Binance users, Binance is introducing BUSD automatic conversion for users' existing balances and new deposits of USDC, USDP and TUSD stablecoins, the exchange announced on September 5. The announcement then also notes that Binance is sunsetting certain spot trading pairs.
