Leading Derivatives Exchange CME Group Launches Micro Bitcoin and Ether Options

CME Group, one of the largest derivative marketplaces in the world, has launched micro-sized bitcoin and ether alternatives. The introduction of these micro-sized options is based on the significant growth and liquidity we have seen in our micro bitcoin and micro ether futures, says a CME executive.

CME Group announced Monday that it is now offering options for Micro Bitcoin and Micro Ether Futures. CME's Micro Bitcoin Future (MBT) is 1/10 the size of a Bitcoin (BTC) and Micro Ether Future (MET) is similarly 1/10 the size of an Ether (ETH).
