Ripple Disputes SEC's Classification of XRP As Security. What do VCs think?

in #gjdkhls2 years ago

The company has been at the center of a number of difficulties, including suits and allegations of fraud. In recent months, Ripple has been indicted of dealing XRP to its own guests in order to manipulate the price of the coin. This has led to numerous investors losing plutocrat as they weren't suitable to vend their coins at a advanced price than they bought them for.

The company has also been indicted of using its own finances to instinctively inflate the price of XRP and other cryptocurrencies. Ripple has denied these claims and argued that they're false. still, a new action filed by a VC establishment suggests else. The action states that Ripple may have violated securities laws and shouldn't be considered a security underU.S. law.

According to this action, Ripple is an unrecorded security because it doesn't meet certain criteria needed for securities to be considered securities underU.S law.
