10 days on Platform and looking to give away 10 steem!
Looking at people delegating SP I figured I would come up with something. Haven't had any creative ideas to blog about lately, just mainly commenting and connecting with folks. And being so new to the platform I have so much still to learn, one thing I have noticed is the feuds going on.
But what struck me the most in these feuds are the people commenting that have been putting in a lot of time on this platform and not getting noticed. I can relate to that as well since I am new. But I personally want to see everyone succeed on this platform for the hard work they are putting in and feel they are not getting attention and followers.
So, I would like to try this out as a pay it forward to those folks and basically since we get awarded I guess is the terminology from blogs, is to motivate myself that now my buddy @davedickeyyall showed me how to sell SP and turn into steem, that I want to give away 10 steem a week. Keeps me motivated to blog and to do something with a good deed. 
And if I don't blog then I have to deposit and buy 10 more steem to give away, so my motivation is there and I can contribute in a good way. 
So each week I will come up with ideas or please share you're ideas that would be fun for us to all get to know each other, fair enough?
So, for this blog. Tell me your story, why did you get on steem ? What goals do you have for being here, and how do you plan to contribute to making it better? 3 simple questions to answer, and whoever story engages me the most, then I will send 10 steem to. I would hate to see people give up on this platform because they feel they aren't making progress.

My name is Bhargavi and I am from India. Tipycally we indian housewives do only houswhold works, bringing up children and cooking after all work finished we get remote in our hand and moving channels for soap operas n all emotional scrap.
My husband Vishal @vishalhkothari always inspires me to do different things to do. Ask me to recreate my all hobbies but have no time for that (franckly dont want to break barriers).
I have a good story I read somewhere
Once a bunch of deers kept at a zoo with long high fancings all around. Deers want to come out of that fancings sonthey always struck to fancing while running around. After 3 months zoo operator cut one side's fancing but deers come near the old fancing boundary and go back.
Moral of the story is that we are binded in invicible fancings. So my husband says cross that invisible fancing other side the great world waiting for you.
I am tired of youtube and facebook now. Daily soaps are boring. So one day he asked me to join him this good platform of steemit and after some posts I felt its good to earn for ourself too and with easy efforts. I always do believe but actually she don't need help but she need to be encouraged and inspired as with her own grace and style ahe can win. And thanks is only showing gratitude but in a bollywood movie 'Jai Ho' lead actor Salman Khan asks everyone to start a chain of goodness and the thought was... 'instead of tell thank help 3 people and ask them to help 3 people whenever they get chance.' It's all about feeling of fullfilling ness and an actor says in the same movie 'some one has asked me to help and see you will be happy and really i m feeling happy today.'
All about inspiring and helping others. I’m brad new on this platform and just want to connect, and one day be able to put out useful knowledge for new people on here to help them. In the meantime I’m a rookie so doing a giveaway for free Steem is all I could come up with.
That's a nice gesture from your side. But bind your followers for giving same kind of quality content for which they have started following you is the only way to succeed told me by my friend who suggest me to steemit.

Stay away from the feuds. You missed the Great Chat Wars, but I was in the trenches of those wars and it was something to behold. It isn't for the weak at heart or for minnows. (it is one of those things you had to be there though if you go back on the block chain you can read all about it through screen shots)
I happened to see someone I didn't know mention steemit in a conversation like people should know what the word meant, I though it was a new slang word and googled it. Saw the get rewarded for your content and signed up without doing any further investigation. With in an hour I was approved and started posting.
My goals to contribute is sharing my stories, my thoughts, my photography. I also post regularly for @schoolforsdg4 it is a school for about 50 slum children in Bangladesh that @azizbd runs. I have also started posting for the familyprotection tag as it is important that the good, bad and the ugly about state care is put out there.
My plan to make it better is to keep contributing original content, I can't promise it will all be good, but I can promise it will be original and in my own words. And I will continue to support causes like @schoolforsdg4 and familyprotection.

I joined the platform to just try out something new. I did not know what this even was and I was very new to the whole cryptoworld. I thought (very naively) that the way to approach cryptos was to join everything lending programs, hyip, faucets and what have you. Oh how wrong can a person be... I thought that those platforms will stay and I wanted to spread the word of wisdom. Turned out that I had no idea what I was doing and maybe I still don't.
Now I have done more research and I have been impressed by this platform. I love to d.tube addition and I think this is the future of social networking. I love the idea of rewarding the content creators.
I have done just a few posts with some photos I have taken and trying to reinvent how to support the platform. I didn't want to make a new account since I think that is cheating. You should not hide your past it makes it impossible to grow better. I want it to stay there to remind me of what is real.
I hope that I will get my account in better reputation someday. Maybe doing a blog or sharing some photos or some other aspect of my life. Let's see what comes next. The only thing I know is that platforms like this will be the new normal sooner or later before the next great leap.

Who I am
I am Ikechi Ndamati, a graduate of Physics in the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
I like learning new things and achieving peraonal goals. I am adventurous and love travelling.
As a result of the kind of exposure I had in my undergraduate level, I had always desired to do my Masters and PhD programs overseas on a scholarship and so I made sure I started getting information about the process early from my 300 level. Thanks to my many advisors that have thread the path I am threading now.
I have a penchant for telecommunication and I'm building myself towards it, learning everthing I think I will need for a career in telecommunication.
I recently was part of a team that built a radio antenna which we used as a telescope.
Why I joined steemit
I joined steemit about 9-10 days ago for the money.
I needed to raise some money for my GRE and TOEFL exams, so I remembered that I once heard of a platform called steemit that pays its members for just socializing and creating contents. And I gave it a try about 10 days ago, and I am here now.
Goal
After joining steemit, i knew that I had to make quality contents if i must raise money for those exams and ultimately secure a scholarship. So I decided to help others like me by giving them useful scholarship information, tips and application links, while raising money for the exams. In the process of doing this and also exploring the community, I plan on making really good friends for life on steemit.
How I plan on making steemit better
I plan on making steemit better by just being myself, and assisting those I can with the little information I have

i looked up and saw my friend @sirlahmjr beckoning at me from the other side, I sighed and then something occurred to me, the last time I saw my friend he definitely didn’t look this rich the last time I saw him before the holiday. I went to meet him and we greeted in our street manners, we began talking and he said he had being calling me since but I didn’t even look up, told him I was just thinking about how my life will be better and he just laughed and said “you have been a great pal of mine and we have been together through the whole hustle that’s why I am going to tell you of the easy and most legal way to earn money now” I looked up anxiously and told him to tell me the latest, he whispered “STEEMIT!!!”… (lol).. let us leave the remaining story for another day..
