'Tis the Season to Be Jolly! 7 Days to Christmas, Hence a GIVEAWAY!!!!

I finally went out with my family, unplanned yesterday after my church's Christmas Praise Celebration. A couple friend wanted to treat us to a Shabu Shabu (Steamboat Japanese style, if I am not mistaken) in the city center. Oh my goodness, it was like so sudden and if not because it is Christmas season, I usually won't take the risk.

The traveling journey was bad because it was jam everywhere especially on a Sunday, you know. I regretted when I was trapped for 1 hour in the jam. But @littledrummerboy was so well behaved that I couldn't believe he cooperated so well with us throughout this unusual "outing".

The food was amazing and for a while I really think it was very worth the trip. Well at least it isn't a disappointment after we got trapped in a crazy jam. It serves super delicious pork belly and many other fresh ingredients in a sukiyaki (soy based) broth. It was a buffet so of course we had been refilling the orders as much as ~we~ they could. I told myself not to overeat as digestion can be a problem for me now.

@litlledrummerboy was his happy self the whole time, despite skipping nap. I was dead tired at the end but then before going back to where our car was, it was pouring!!! We couldn't walk to our car which was parked in a hotel so we had to figure to walk through an underpass to the most congested mall of the city center in order to run over in the shortest distance under the rain to the hotel.

This mall was crazily packed with people who look like sardines at one glance. Hahah. Nevertheless @littledrummerboy saw his favorite Disney character, Mickey Mouse and he was thrilled to see it in such a big figure.

With a cap and my scarf covering him, his dad carried him and braced through the rain. He didn't get much rain at all except for on his hands. Then we were trapped in a jam a back for another 30 minutes before the roads cleared. The journey back wasn't as bad, @littledrummerboy took his nap. I made orders for dinner so we could pick the food up on our way back before picking my little sister.

I was dead tired at the end of the day but @littledrummerboy was excited to have his yiyi (mom's sister) around. He was reluctant to sleep and kept finding her in her room though she said goodnight. It's like a favorite friend comes for a visit and he is unwilling to stop playing.

Well, we must be well rested for today we are going out with my sister. I had a very good and sound sleep so here I am posting before another long day!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!! I love this season so very super much. It's the time I celebrate the birth of my beloved Darling Savior, Who still makes my heart swell. Remembering Him has been the best part of this Christmas. From my family to yours, Merry Blessed Christmas! 🎁🎄
