I'm currently watching youtube videos after reading posts that confused me a bit. I'm learning more about Steem, Steem power and Steem Dollars.

Steem increased on the market which is awesome! That's what made me contemplate whether it would be a good thing or a bad thing to power up my steem into steem power. I'm planning to be a long term holder. Would the value still go up if I have it locked up in steem power? I've been listening to conflicting views..

For 2018, I plan on continuing my "studying" of the crypto world, and learn to really learn steem it so that I can be a valuable player within the community. I've always loved writing and provided content for many websites and stopped because it wasn't worth doing anymore. Now with steem it, it rekindled the love again. I plan on doing some travelling this year so there will be some great posts on some destinations and some photography to go along with it.

Another thing that hit the back burner for me was my yoga teaching. It just wasn't lucrative enough for me. Now with steem it, I hope to be able to supplement income so that I can do and share all the things I love, that didn't necessarily pay well. A yoga class pays $20-$30 a class, which becomes pennies once you take into consideration the driving between studios. I was teaching 7 days a week just to make a decent paycheck. I was exhausted and got burnt out. Now with steem it, I can take a different approach and enjoy being creative again. 2018 looks very promising.
