Pi is a new digital currency developed by a group of Stanford PhDs. For a limited time, you can participate in the beta to earn Pi and help grow the network. Currently the members have exceeded 8 million.
Once you have downloaded the App you will start your mining business as a "Pioneer". After verifying your connection for 3 days (you will receive an alert from the app itself), you will add that of "Contributor" to your position, to which you can immediately add the user through whom you have subscribed (the app works in invitations). This way you will contribute to network security. The next step is to invite at least two other users to become "Ambassadors" and increase the extraction capacity of the crypto Pi.

The home screen shows the Pi earned at the top while the level of protection you are contributing to the right, the users of your Earning Team Ambassador, the Pi you are extracting. Communications from the research team will also occasionally arrive. You will not be able to miss them because a big face will occupy all the space of the app.

Later, as already announced, the desktop version will also arrive to increase the level of security and protection of the network. The so-called "Nodes".
The Pi Network currently relies on the consent of its users. It is not a question of real mining as it happens with the Ethereum Rig but of the assignment of cryptocurrencies (similar to a Proof of Stake) in exchange for their contribution to guaranteeing the safety of the Newtork Pi.
