Review Of Girls Foundation Donation Of Writing Materials To Students

I know some of you might be wondering what the GIRLS FOUNDATION in the picture above stands for, well @girlsfoundation is a non governmental steemit block chain platform that took up the responsibility of enlightening youth and creation of awareness on steemblock chain and steemit , they also help in reinforcing female students by making them discover the ability to create wealth with their writing skills.
They also educate female child on the basic norms and values they should know and act as an advocate to female child. Part of activities that has been carried out by @girls foundation include, giving lectures to female child, distribution of needed materials to female students among others.

Am here to give a review on an amazing job the platform stated above ( @girlsfoundation ) did on 19th July 2018 , by visiting some graduating kids in their school to give them writing materials which I believe is the best gift you can give to students to encourage them in their studies.
On this date stated above, the @girlsfoundation group arrived at the the school at exactly 1:47pm , in which the principal attended to them and make preparations for both the students and the visitors .
At 2pm , the principal invited them to the stage and the coordinator in person of @faetee gave an opening short speech while the students and staff listen to her.

After the speech, @faetee and other members began the distribution of the materials and made sure it get to all students regardless of their class or age.
A total number of 50notebooks and mathematical set was given to the students which I believe will go a long way in helping the students with their studies and and encourage them to learn, I see this as a form for education reinforcement, we all know that writing material is one of the most important things a student must have, during my undergraduate days, my project supervisor gave me a research to carry out on the effect and usefulness of writing materials in children education, after the research it was found out from the data collected that introduction of literacy materials such as writing materials by teacher can help improve literacy development .

After the distribution , the @girlsfoundation group went to their various seats to sit-down as the school activities continues. Later after some minutes, the @girlsfoundation group was called back by the principal to presents gifts to the best graduating students of the school

The event and visit was rounded up with picture section with the students and staff of the school

The girls foundation is a project set up to enlighten young ladies of their norms and value, advocate for the girl-child, encourage and support them with the little we can.We believe the girl-child can bring about change in our society. Women are essential to the nation because they take care of its children, the children are the future leaders of the nation, if you are familiar with the bible you must have heard of this verse “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he won‟t depart from it”.Girls foundation was founded by a group of selfless ladies, it is a non�governmental organization an d believes in decentralization.

Vision of @girlsfoundation Are As Follows:

To enlighten youths of their purpose in life. We believe once you know the truth and purpose of your existence you are free, the journey to success and failure now lies in your hands.
Rape free society- Rape is a sexual assault carried out against a person forcefully. The rate at which girls are being raped these days is alarming, we are also humans and we deserve respect. Most rape victims suffer from trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, serious injuries and in some cases pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection.
Fight against domestic violence- it is also known as intimate partner violence, domestic abuse or family violence ; it's a form of violence committed in a domestic or family setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. It is called intimate partner violence when committed by spouse and called family violence when it involves the kids, parents or elders. Domestic violence has several effects on human that's is why girls foundation is picking it up. Effects of domestic violence
includes :
1.) Physical effect: This involves bruises round the victim, broken wrists, shortness of breath etc.
2.) Mental effect: This involves PTSD (post-traumatic stress),
pressing, drug abuse, suicidal thoughts etc.
3.) Emotional effect: This involves feeling unworthy, hopeless and not motivated etc.
4.)It affects the development of the kids and they suffer from
depression, anxiety, fear etc
Domestic violence always produces an international cycles of violence. Funny, only few people see themselves as being abused; considering it as family matter.
Girl education: Some people still believe that training a female child is a waste of time and money 'cause they feel she'd still end up in the kitchen, well sorry to disappoint you but ladies can do much more than just being house wives, lots of educated women are doing fine in our society today. Every child deserves equal right to education.We don't think anyone should be treated differently because of their gender, we are all one and it's high time we realized that.

Like seriously am amazed on what this platform is doing, I pray that God will continue to strengthen them and those giving them support round the world.
