How to boost your self esteem♥

Dont wait for the happiness.

Everyone thinks that anything to improve your mental health is selfish or arrogant but I'm here to disagree. I'm sick of people making me feel undeserved. We all need to realise that we are not put on this planet to be slaves to reckless people. I have been breaking my back to resolve broken friendships and I've realised that its not possible because to the other person this friendship was just something to play with when they are bored. I grew up with the understanding that others happiness came before mine.

"You can not learn to love others unless you have received love yourself."

Love is one of the simplest yet most complicated things in the world. I thought I understood how to use it but I don't. Love begins in our heart and if u can't love yourself whether it be your reflection in the mirror or your resilient mind then you have no power to love others.

You are going to come across people who don't love you the way you should be, but don't let that change the way you see yourself. Some people don't get to see how beautiful of a person you are because they judge you before you even get a chance to say anything, those are the people missing out. The more smart, beautiful and strong you see yourself the more other people will see who you truly are.

Don't let your self-love depend on how popular you are at school or how important of an employee you are at work because every vein running through your body and every twinkle in your eyes should be filled with the love you have and not the love others are willing to give you for a price. You need to start being your own biggest fan.

After this short introduction, I try to present below, small tips for boost our self-esteem at a healthy level

  • Forgive yourself just like you would forgive the people you love.

I can tell from experience that this is one of the most satisfying ways to start loving yourself, because it helps us to release load, stress and also to want or be subject to the constant approval of others.

  • Wear clothes you feel great in.

there's hundreds of different styles out there, have fun with it and find yours! whether you like wearing floral button ups, or big sweatshirts, it's all up to you.

  • Dont compare yourself to others

comparing yourself to others is never a good idea. whether it's about who has cuter clothes or better hair, it doesn't help anything. we are all our own person and we all have different qualities.

  • Avoid negative thoughts

dont autommatically put yourself down. you wouldn't do it to others, so why do it do yourself? it's important to put any negative thoughts to rest.


  • Focus on the good

with positive thoughts in your mind, you'll not only be in a better mood, but you'll also be improving your self esteem. pushing the negative thoughts and replacing them with positive ones is a great idea.

  • Take care of yourself

taking care of yourself is another very important tip to boosting your self esteem and self confidence. practicing good hygiene can help this. for example washing your face two times a day or drinking lots of water.
