Gilbert Burns Makes Combat Grappling Debut at Titan FC 53
If you have been following the UFC, MMA, and especially competitive submission grappling you probably know of Gilbert "Durinho" Burns. He is coming off a win from UFC 231 where he earned a decision victory against Olivier Aubin-Mercier and while he waits for his next MMA fight, he's keeping busy with jiu-jitsu.
Burns is competing in Titan FC's first ever combat grappling super fight against another UFC vet in Gleison Tibau. This is the first time the Titan FC promotion has ever added combat grappling to one of their cards and the first time Burns is doing this type of grappling competition.
In the interview, Burns gave his picks for UFC 235 and by now we all know he was right. He's hoping to get on the UFC card in Miami April, 27. Titan FC 53 airs on UFC Fight Pass March 15.
