Rain Water Collection + Storage + Usage System = Meadows & Makers Challenge No.3 - 30 STEEM Reward Pool

The Maker Challenge is a series of maker challenges presented by the Meadows & Makers podcast. Each challenge will allow 1-2 weeks for completion and entry. Top entries will be announced on the podcast and rewarded with STEEM.

Challenge No.3 = Water Collection + Storage + Usage System

Fresh water is always in high demand. Used for drinking, cooking, irrigation, cleaning, live stock, and more - living depends on having fresh water. From rain barrels for gardens - to off-grid rain water collection for irrigation and consumption - to well pumps, fresh springs, creeks, and aquifers, we are interested in seeing a post about your water collection, storage, and usage system.

  • Water Collection: Roof or ground sheeting for rain water, spring, creek, well, etc.
  • Water Storage: Rain barrel, water tote, cistern, treatment, water catch, ditches, etc.
  • Water Usage: Irrigation, cleaning, drinking, filtering processes, etc.

Rewards for Five (5) Selected Steemit Posts:

  • Current reward pool: 30 STEEM - many thanks to @amberyooper for adding 2 STEEM to the pool :)
  • The Top Three (3) Posts selected will receive 7 STEEM each.
  • Two (2) Additional Selected Posts will receive 4.5 STEEM each.
  • 30 STEEM has been set aside (@offgrid-online) for the Water Collection + Storage + Usage System Post Challenge payouts.

  • Entries will be accepted until the end of the day - Friday November 16th, 2018
  • Rewards will be paid out before the Meadows & Maker podcast on Saturday November 17th, 2018 (5-7PM UTC)
  • Results from the challenge will be announced on the Nov 17th Meadows & Makers podcast

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to write another post for this contest. I have a rain water collection system for my garden irrigation.

Looking forward to all the entries as well... There are so many variations for each (collection, storage, and usage). I am definitely interested and hoping to see ideas that I may not have even thought of at work.
