GHOULS'N GHOSTS - SEGA - MEGA DRIVE REVIEW
Ghouls'n Ghost is a platform game for the Mega Drive, among other systems, published by Sega in 1989.
Three years have passed since the brave knight Sir Arthur rescued his beloved maiden from the clutches of the evil army of demons. Unfortunately, the Prince of Darkness is not one to accept his defeats with honor.
Loki takes his revenge against the kingdom by taking the souls of all its inhabitants, including that of his beloved princess. Once again, our hero finds himself forced to fight against the undead in order to resurrect all his victims.
As a self-respecting medieval knight, Sir Arthur is in top physical shape, able to perform vigorous jumps and climb up and down stairs. He is well versed in the use of various period weapons, such as spears, axes and daggers.
We wear armor that will serve as basic protection against the dangers we will encounter. If we are hit by an enemy, it will break into several pieces, leaving us in our underwear and vulnerable to the next attack.
The fight to conquer the Demon Castle seems uneven. Numerous monsters and ghosts of all sizes and shapes will put our courage to the test. Fortunately, when they die, they will leave items that will balance the scales a little.
We will find a multitude of weapons with which to make our way, armor that not only protects us but also grants us magical powers, and mysterious chests that may contain very useful objects, but also unpleasant surprises.
